Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Transport Team Leader with a strong background in BPO operations to manage the daily transport activities for employees, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective commuting. The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination skills, strong knowledge of shift-based transport planning, and the ability to handle vendor and employee escalations effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities:1. Transport Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end transport operations for BPO shifts (day/night/mid).
- Prepare daily rosters, route plans, and ensure optimal vehicle utilization.
- Monitor real-time transport movement using GPS and routing software.
2. Team Leadership
- Supervise and lead the transport support staff including coordinators, transport executives, and call desk agents.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as required.
- Ensure all shift handovers are smooth with proper documentation.
3. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with external transport vendors for vehicle availability, service quality, and SLAs.
- Ensure drivers are trained on safety, etiquette, and company protocols.
- Track vehicle maintenance, documentation, and compliance.
4. Employee Transport Experience
- Address and resolve employee transport-related issues and escalations promptly.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, including security guards in vehicles (for night shifts).
- Monitor feedback from employees and continuously improve service quality.
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain transport records, attendance, MIS reports, and route logs.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards, including RTO regulations and internal safety norms.
- Conduct periodic audits of routes, vendors, and staff performance.
