Job responsibility
Team Member-OSP & IBD Planning is responsible for OSP & IBD Planning which includes LM OSP & IBD, green field, fibre capacity, route planning and upgrades & optimisation for own, IRU & TP fibre.
Major responsibilities include:
- Finding optimal and cost-effective Solution for Last Mile Customer delivery on OSP.
- OSP planning for New Built, IRU & OPGW Routes , 3 rd Party OHF for customer delivery and operational requirements.
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Bill of Materials (BOM) for raising the CAPEX and work orders for OSP.
- Monitor and analyse OSP Network Capacity and plan upgrades.
- Supporting the Fiber operation & Project teams for Smooth implementation & operations.
- Adherence to municipal by-laws, including comparing the Right of way (ROW) plan with work plan.
- Audit of actual, as-built with planned fibre network, QA check randomly for ongoing OSP projects at various locations.
- IBD/ODN plan for the customer connectivity for G1 & G2 buildings based on the delivery scenarios on MUX, GPON , L2 Switch by adhering to the guidelines.
- Monthly exercise of compiling fibre inventory reconciliation along with SCM.
- OSP/IBD services allocation and SRF wise data maintaining with all associated inputs.
TP OHF
- Validation, Payment processing & Provisioing for LM , MM , IRU & NLD links.
- IRU management-renewal, surrender & inventory upkeep.
The aspirant for Team Member-OSP & IBD Planning role must have in-depth understanding about OSP & IBD Planning and lifecycle management of the 3 rd Party OHF providers.
