The opportunity
As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Operations Center, India (INOPC-PG) and the Global Transformer QO team. Your key responsibilities will include the development and administration of Transformer Power BI reports, delivering detailed ad hoc analytics using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Power Automate. You will also contribute to the development of the business unit’s Quality & Operations reporting and data management initiatives.
How you’ll make an impact
Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence using SQL. (Expertise in ETL). Supporting PGTR QO Management with the development and administration of the BU-QO’s Power BI reports and data management.
Working closely with the HE Performance & Analytics Team who is the owner of the most important data base feeding the Transformers Power BI visualizations.
Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources and ensure accuracy and consistency. Development of tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business operations, identify trends, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in ERP systems, data analysis, and Power BI development. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis solutions using Power BI.
Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of data quality and completeness. Developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports to the workspace as per the business requirements.
Developing and maintaining the power automate flow to automate routine tasks and data extraction process. Supporting the stakeholders by providing training and explaining the usage of the SharePoint sites.
Creating workflows for the applications that has repeatable business requirements. Capable of managing technical issues, tasks, and timelines. Working in a respectful, friendly Team which is growing fast.

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in B.E/B. Tech Computer science/Information Technology.
Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.
Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools, with demonstrated experience creating complex reports and dashboards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong capabilities of DAX queries / DAX functions / Power Query Editor.
Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
Familiar with Row Level Security (RLS).
Basic knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps etc.
Basics in Python or R Language & Statistics.
Extended MS Office knowledge & skills, (Excel, Power Automate, Power App, Power BI etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
