Position: Supply Chain Supervisor
Shift: Evening/Night Shift
Department: Supply Chain Management
Location: Andheri, Mumbai, India
Reports to: Director, Global Supply Chain Management
Purpose:
WhiteWater West is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team in Mumbai, India! In this position you will be responsible for r overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our Supply Chain department and its supply chain process. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and coach the development of the Purchasing team
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage performance with HQ.
- Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
- Analyze supply chain processes and recommend improvements
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, order accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare extensive reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with large datasets to develop insights that support smarter planning decisions for Senior leadership review
- Lead change management initiatives within the supply chain ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and organizational changes through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and training.
- Contribute to other supply chain improvement initiatives as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 + years of experience managing a team of supply chain professionals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge/experience in the area of Purchasing.
- Previous ERP experience required
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Must have excellent communication and negotiating skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to travel internationally 5% (Canada)
- Must be fluent in English
- Technical and or logistics background a plus
