Job Duty Description:
- Work often requires physical labor, including lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions like bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Responsible for stockroom clerk duties – performing various tasks, including receiving and inspecting deliveries for accuracy and damage, organizing and maintaining inventory, stocking shelves in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling of goods, pulling and preparing outgoing shipments, and assisting with inventory counts.
- Requires physically handling items – receiving, storing, and distributing goods, using inventory systems to ensure accurate records and efficient stock management, and collaborating with other departments.
- Picking and preparing items for shipment or transfer to other departments based on requests or orders.
- Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records and identify discrepancies.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in the Diamond Industry would be advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Hindi, with good communication skills for interacting with the team.
