Job Title: Bid Solutions/Enterprise Architect

Shift timings: Night shift (6:30 pm - 3:30 am IST)
Role Overview:
The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation. Working remotely, the Solutions Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and robust solutions tailored to meet client requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of technology, industry best practices, and business acumen. The Solutions Architect also provides technical leadership on prospective business opportunity proposals and supports all aspects of the new business development life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design comprehensive solutions that align with strategic objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership for proposals and strategic pursuits, developing solutions architectures, and writing technical responses to Requests for Proposals and Quotes (RFPs and RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought Notices (SSNs).
- Support the development of marketing materials such as whitepapers, slicks, and trifolds.
Architecture Development:
- Develop high-level and detailed architecture blueprints, including system integrations, data flows, security measures, and scalability considerations.
- Ensure architectural integrity and adherence to established standards.
Technical Proposal Content Development:
- Develop technical approach and proposal plans, including scheduling of tasks, processes, and identifying critical resources.
- Write, edit, and review technical proposal content, consolidating and incorporating reviewer/technical expert edits.
Support Capture Strategy Development:
- Support capture strategy development through technical leadership, including the creation and marketing of discriminating value propositions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Experience playing crucial role in shaping and strengthening technical proposals, especially for complex projects.
- Ensures the proposed solution is technically viable, scalable, and aligns with the client's requirements.
- Experience as a Solutions/Enterprise Architect on medium or large-size business captures and proposals.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Proficiency in architectural design patterns, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in writing for white papers, RFI responses, and proposals.
- Ability to convert business requirements into logical solution designs.
- Experience in conducting trade studies, product evaluations, or research projects.
- Experience and/or expertise in at least three of the following areas: System Development, Software or Application Development, Application Modernization, Software Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, System Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Agile Development, Dev/Sec/Ops.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Must have experience in RFP solution development.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
