Position Summary
In the position of Senior Sales Manager you will be managing all sales/revenue generating activities and relationships with Coca-Cola Bottling Group to develop retailers, distributors, and wholesalers in the assigned territory. Increase top line sales revenue while maintaining bottom-line profitability. Lead by example and motivate the Coca-Cola Organization at all levels to execute the planned activities and deliver the expected results.
Essential Job Functions
- Create, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors to grow the portfolio of Monster Energy products in the assigned territory.
- Conceptualize a sales strategy then apply the strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the region. Develop and execute promotional programs and activities with key partners.
- Monitor sales forecasts and budgets to achieve established goals and to deliver profitable growth for assigned region.
- Oversee sales reporting obligations to include frequent sales updates, pricing surveys, etc.
- Follow and report on products, category, innovation, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
- Work with internal departments to implement customer agreements, increase revenue, and address customer needs by working closely with senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer support and improve supply chain efficiencies
- Manage TDM (Trade Development Manager) Program, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s to develop territory.
Position Requirements
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business, Marketing , Finance or similar field of study. MBA is advantageous.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in sales.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in retail, wholesale or distributor sales environment.
- Computer Skills Desired: Advanced user Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent English preferred. Prior experience managing direct reports.
