Job Description:
Replicate Platform Administrator
Job Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai / Kolkata / Noida/ Gurgaon / Pune / Indore / Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain on any of the replication tools like Golden Gate.
- Manage and monitor replication servers, tasks, and endpoint connections.
- Ensure high availability and performance of replication environments.
- Implement security measures including access control, role-based permissions, and SSL configurations.
- Set up alerting and automated health checks for critical replication tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, task, or endpoint issues with minimal downtime.
- Maintain audit logs and compliance reporting for replication activities.
Development & Task Configuration
- Design, create, and optimize data replication tasks using Golden Gate.
- Enable and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) for supported source systems.
- Apply data transformation rules, filters, and mappings as required.
- Develop and maintain documentation for replication task logic and configurations.
- Work closely with data engineers, DBAs, and business analysts to fulfill data integration needs.
- Proficient in working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud systems like AWS Redshift & Data Bricks.
- Strong understanding of CDC, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments, networking basics, SSL/TLS, and firewall configurations.
- Skilled in SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting replication bottlenecks.
- Experience integrating Qlik Replicate with tools like Kafka, SAP, or cloud data platforms is a plus.
