Job Summary
As a Credit Monitoring Quality Control Analyst within the Commercial Bank, you oversee the Credit Monitoring team's work. You ensure compliance results are accurately recorded per credit agreement terms. You review syndicated loans and bilateral agreements for covenant adherence.
Job Responsibilities
- Enforce quality control standards and service level agreements
- Review Credit Monitoring Analyst's work for covenant breaches
- Provide explanations for identified issues
- Interpret credit agreements for accurate system setup
- Perform credit analysis and monitor compliance
- Independently calculate cash flow and leverage ratios
- Develop knowledge of secured lending products
- Validate performance pricing for credit risk compensation
- Monitor control and operational environments
- Partner with stakeholders for quality program practices
- Provide feedback and recommend corrective actions
- Recommend service and system improvements
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of banking or financial analysis experience
- Experience in credit monitoring and analysis
- Identify and summarize key points in credit reviews
- Understand loan products and documentation
- Desire to develop expertise in real estate credit risk
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Work independently with good time management
- Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel
