Position: Business Development Executive / Manager – Indian Pharma Exports
Location: Flexible (India )
Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Role Overview
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to support the growth of our UK-focused pharmaceutical exports. The role requires building strong connections with Indian pharma manufacturers and UK distributors, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and developing long-term business opportunities in generics, APIs, nutraceuticals, and herbal products.
Key Responsibilities
- Industry & Product Knowledge
- Understand India’s pharma landscape (APIs, generics, vaccines, nutraceuticals).
- Keep updated on UK market trends, especially NHS demand for generics and OTC products.
- Networking & Business Development
- Engage with Indian manufacturers (formulations, APIs, CMOs, nutraceuticals).
- Build partnerships with UK importers/distributors (WDA holders).
- Represent the company at trade fairs (CPHI, India Pharma Expo, UK Health Show).
- Use B2B platforms (LinkedIn, IndiaMART, TradeIndia) for outreach.
- Regulatory & Compliance
- Understand CDSCO export licensing, WHO-GMP requirements, and CoA documentation.
- Work with MHRA (UK) regulations, pharmacovigilance, and import licensing.
- Support preparation of regulatory dossiers for product registration.
- Export & Logistics Management
- Prepare and manage export documentation (Proforma Invoice, COA, COO, Packing List, Bill of Lading).
- Ensure correct INCOTERMS and contract compliance (FOB, CIF, DDP).
- Coordinate cold chain logistics (for vaccines) and bulk shipping.
- Market Development
- Identify high-demand categories (oncology, antibiotics, antivirals, OTC supplements).
- Explore opportunities in herbal and nutraceutical exports to the UK.
- Develop a market entry strategy for UK buyers and distributors.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Pharmaceutical product knowledge (APIs, generics, OTC, nutraceuticals).
- Export-import operations and documentation.
- Regulatory affairs (India: CDSCO, UK: MHRA).
- Business development & networking skills.
- Supply chain & logistics knowledge.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
