Job Title: ICSE Computer Science Teacher (Grades 6–10)
Location: North Bangalore
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to students in Grades 6 to 10 as per ICSE curriculum guidelines.
- Deliver engaging lessons in theory and practicals, covering topics such as algorithms, basic programming (Python/Java), computer applications, and IT concepts.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching aids that align with ICSE requirements.
- Conduct lab sessions and projects to develop students' computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Create and evaluate assignments, tests, and projects to assess learning outcomes.
- Maintain an organized and safe computer lab environment.
- Support students in preparing for assessments and tech-related events or competitions.
- Collaborate with faculty and attend school meetings, workshops, and training programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, ideally in ICSE schools.
- Strong command of the ICSE Computer Applications/Computer Science syllabus for middle and high school.
- Experience teaching programming languages (preferably Python or Java).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to incorporate technology and e-learning tools into classroom instruction.
- Creative approach to teaching that fosters curiosity and independent learning.
- Experience mentoring students in coding or computer-related competitions is a plus.
