Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair marine engines (inboard, outboard, and auxiliary).
- Maintain and repair propulsion systems, gearboxes, shaft alignments, and rudder systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as per OEM standards.
- Install and align mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Maintain fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems on vessels.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and service bulletins.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at all times.
- Support dry-docking, sea trials, and onboard repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with electricians, welders, and marine engineers for integrated maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency mechanical issues during operations or at sea (if required).
