- The role holder will support the wider Personnel team in ensuring the effective manning of both our crew and technical managed fleet.
- Obtain and maintain seafarer certification and record records in the crewing system, including new start documentation.
- Support the Marine Personnel Officer with obtaining pre joining documentation, including and not limited to visas, Flagstate documents, medicals, pre joining declarations and other documentation identified as required.
- Assist in arranging travel logistics for crew members, flights booking, visas processing, and accommodations booking.
- Assist in responding to seafarer inquiries, providing information, and addressing their needs professionally.
- Have a basic understanding of Marine Industry regulatory and certification legislation including but not limited to ISM Code, STCW and MLC 2006.
- Drive improvements with Crew Management software to drive greater efficiency and compliance.
- Responsibility for completion of Junior Officer exit interviews including uploading to the Crewing system.
- May be asked from time to time be asked to undertake other tasks within the function that are relevant to your position.
