About the role
The Manager, Food & Beverage will be responsible for elevating the member experience, driving revenue performance, and ensuring operational excellence across all WeWork India locations from a F&B perspective. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and vendor management, aiming to balance commercial goals with quality, compliance, and member experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact results. Creating scalable systems, maintaining food safety standards, and continuously improving vendor performance are critical parts of the role.
Role and responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Excellence
Drive the F&B strategy with measurable growth targets and performance metrics.
Standardize F&B operations across all locations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Work collaboratively with community and operations teams to set up new café spaces and address member queries and work with a solution driven mindset.
Support refurbishment projects and new initiatives with F&B inputs and execution support.
Vendor and member relationship building
Cross functional collaboration and communication
Member & Vendor Experience
Lead initiatives to improve member satisfaction across all F&B offerings.
Provide customized F&B solutions for Managed Office clients.
Manage end-to-end vendor relationships – from onboarding and compliance to performance tracking and quality audits.
Ensure all food vendors meet WeWork’s food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Identify and resolve member experience issues related to F&B services.
Financial & Compliance Management
Understand and manage F&B P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
Track and maintain F&B budgets, provisions, and ensure cost avoidance where feasible.
Drive revenue through partnerships, vendor deals, and curated events.
Ensure 100% compliance with H&S policies and food safety norms.
Growth & Innovation
Explore new vendor partnerships and deploy them across new and existing WeWork buildings.
Identify trends, propose innovative menu ideas, and lead new concept rollouts.
Contribute to marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and traction of F&B offerings.
People & Incident Management
Work in tandem with internal teams to track updates, close open points, and manage escalations.
Respond to and report incidents related to food quality, safety, or service concerns.
Encourage team collaboration and help nurture a strong internal F&B network across geographies.
Manage and motivate your team to work with the same integrity and dedication
Experience & qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in hospitality, F&B operations, food courts or cloud kitchens.
- Proven ability in setting up and managing cafés, quick-service counters, or commercial kitchens.
- Experience in coworking or corporate real estate is a plus.
- Strong process orientation with excellent attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of food safety, compliance standards, and budgeting/P&L management.
- Proficient in Google Suite and operational tools.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate across departments
- Sense of cost and design for F&B spaces is a plus
