Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for members and visitors, the Gym Receptionist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth front desk operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment within the fitness facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Engagement: Greet and check in members and guests promptly, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle in-person inquiries regarding gym services, schedules, and membership details.
- Scheduling: Manage appointments for personal training sessions, group classes, and other gym services, coordinating with trainers and instructors as needed.
- Membership Management: Process new memberships, renewals, cancellations, and updates, maintaining accurate member records.
- Sales Support: Assist in promoting and selling gym memberships, services, and merchandise, providing information on current promotions and offerings.
- Administrative Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the reception area and surrounding spaces are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve member concerns or complaints in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor gym access, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and gym policies.
