Must-Have Skills
Deep hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer.
Proven ability to design enterprise-grade data lakes, warehouses, and real-time data systems.
Strong command of Python and SQL for data engineering and automation tasks.
Expertise in building and managing complex ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Beam or Airflow.
Experience in leading teams, conducting code reviews, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with Terraform or Deployment Manager for GCP resource provisioning.
Experience with Kafka, Apache Beam, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of data lineage, cataloging, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Exposure to integrating data pipelines with ML models and Vertex AI.
Understanding of Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for data consumption.
Qualifications:
Overall work experience of 12+ years with minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience GCP related projects
BS Degree in IT, MIS or business-related functional discipline
Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
