Job Title: Sales Officer – FMCG
Location: T. Nagar, Chennai
Experience: 5–10 years in FMCG sales & distribution
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely primary orders from distributors and optimal inventory at distributor warehouses
- Visit retail outlets regularly to ensure product availability, prominent shelf visibility, and execution of POP/POS displays .
- Plan and implement trade activations, promotional campaigns, and in-store merchandising initiatives .
- Conduct market research to analyze competition, spot consumer trends, and identify new outlets and distributors .
- Expand territory by onboarding new retailers/distributors and driving share-of-shelf growth .
- Meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales volume and value targets..
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5–10 years of FMCG sales experience, proven success in distributor & trade management.
- Strong grasp of distributor dynamics, general trade, and trade-marketing principles
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with capability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and adept at multitasking in field environments.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
