The Facilities Attendant is responsible for supporting day-to-day facility operations, ensuring smooth functioning of building systems, and providing assistance in upkeep, maintenance, and workplace services. The role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support daily operations of office facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure timely reporting and resolution of facility-related issues and breakdowns.
- Support in maintaining housekeeping standards, pantry services, and office cleanliness.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for equipment such as ACs, lighting, UPS, and access control systems.
- Coordinate with the facilities team for office moves, seating arrangements, and space management.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance checklists.
- Ensure safety and compliance protocols are followed (fire drills, emergency equipment checks, etc).
- Assist during events, meetings, or special projects with setup and facility support.
- Act as a point of contact for facility-related requests from employees.
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of basic technical systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail with ability to multitask.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a corporate environment.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Facilities or related field (preferred).
- Experience with BMS, fire alarm, and access control systems will be an added advantage.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily office-based, with requirement for physical activity during inspections, maintenance, or event setups.
- May require flexibility for extended hours during breakdowns, emergencies, or special projects.
