Job Summary:
The Fabrication In charge is responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of the fabrication department. This includes overseeing metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise fabrication activities including shearing, bending, puf production, welding, and assembly.
- Maintain records of production output, inventory and downtime.
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment and tools.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate operators.
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams for material planning.
- Monitor project timelines and adjust resources as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing supervision.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and welding standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
