Position: Fabric Store Incharge
1. Fabric Receiving
- Verify fabric against Purchase Order and Delivery Challan.
- Check quality, quantity, color, width, and GSM.
- Inspect for defects (weaving faults, stains, shade issues).
- Record in Fabric Inward Register and generate GRN.
- Update inventory system and report discrepancies to QA/Sourcing.
2. Storage & Handling
- Store fabric in a clean, dry, ventilated space.
- Segregate by type, color, and order.
- Label rolls with Unique ID; stack properly.
- Follow FIFO method.
- Store flammable items away from heat/fire sources.
3. Fabric Issuance
- Receive requisition from Cutting Department.
- Issue fabric as per approved consumption sheet.
- Record issuance and provide Fabric Issue Slip.
- Return leftover fabric with labels to storage.
4. Inventory Management
- Maintain real-time stock records.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile.
- Record wastage, scraps, and dead stock.
- Submit stock and utilization reports to management.
5. Inspection & Testing
- Follow 4-point inspection system.
- Test for GSM, shrinkage, and colorfastness.
- Document inspection reports and notify QA of defects.
- Coordinate with suppliers for replacements.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records: PO, GRN, Inspection, Issue Slips, Inventory.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Report fabric issues to Production and Sourcing.
- Track and report utilization and wastage.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow fire and safety regulations.
- Keep extinguishers and exits accessible.
- Maintain cleanliness and order.
- Train staff on safe handling procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
