Job Description
  • Analysis the current inventory levels for items as per BOM, stock transferred the available items from free or excess stock to fulfill production orders & Release the PR for non-stock & Shortage items.

  • Working closely with SCM to ensure POs are placed in line with delivery timelines for smooth operations. Ensuring there should not be an impact on delivery schedules. In such cases, escalating the issue to management for intervention to expedite PO placement to mitigate potential delays and maintain customer satisfaction. Effective communication and coordination between teams are key to ensuring timely procurement and delivery processes.

  • Creating the Manufacturing Work order for Assembly Bom and sub-Assy Bom and releasing the Pick list or MR in ERP to issue the items from stores

  • Follow up the stores for kit readiness and launch them to Production as per Schedule

  • Prioritizing Inward stores & QC for GRN and inspection to ensure that materials are efficiently processed and pushed to the production line
  • Monitor & record During Production & Escalating if there are any issues regarding Production schedules, design issues, Item shortages, Capacity constraints issues immediately reporting to Head Operations.

  • Implementing a process for returning excess drawn items resulting from BOM modifications using a Component Return Note (CRN) can help streamline inventory management and reduce waste.
  • Routing, scheduling, and resource allocation and aligning them with project priority is essential for successful project execution. By prioritizing projects based on factors such as strategic importance, deadlines, and resource availability, you can ensure that the most critical tasks receive the necessary attention and resources
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and uncertainties that may impact production operations, such as supplier disruptions, equipment failures, or market fluctuations. Operation planning activities include developing contingency plans, establishing risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring risk factors to minimize their impact on production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from employees, analyzing performance data, and implementing changes to optimize processes. Operation planning activities involve identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and fostering innovation to drive operational excellence.
  • Work order Closing and Completing the Draw transaction of Sub-assy’s and Parent Assembly items & move to FG stock & regularization of offline items taken from stores and release of dispatch intimation across all the operation departments & circulating the Dispatch notice to finance to process the invoice
  • Ensuring that the deliveries are packed correctly according to the customer delivery list for meeting customer requirements and satisfaction.
  • Following up with stores/logistics for final packing and booking the vehicle for delivery of finished goods to customers.
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders, including PM, Design, Production teams, Quality, testing and logistics for Good coordination which helps in aligning production plans to meet the target
  • Identify Risks and Gaps: Recognize potential risks and challenges that could impact operations.
  • Mitigation Plans: Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and handle unexpected issues.
  • Analyze the Root Cause: Investigation: Conduct a thorough analysis to identify the underlying causes of the problem. Techniques such as root cause analysis (RCA), Data Collection: Gather data related to the issue to understand when and where it occurs, and what conditions contribute to it.
  • Corrective Actions: Action Plan: Based on the root cause analysis, develop a plan to address the issue. This might involve process changes, equipment adjustments, or additional training. Feasibility: Ensure the proposed corrective actions are practical, cost-effective, and can be implemented within a reasonable timeframe. Inform all relevant stakeholders (e.g., Production, Quality, SCM, Flight testing, Logistic & Finance) about the changes and the reasons behind them.
  • Corrective Actions: Execution: Apply the corrective actions according to the plan. This may include updating procedures, modifying equipment, or altering workflows, Communication
  • Monitor and Verify Effectiveness: Follow-Up: Monitor the production process after implementing corrective actions to ensure they are effective. Check if the issue has been resolved and if there are any new problems.
