Job Description:
- Maintains purchasing documents, files, and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Performs related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit pertaining to Purchase Dept.
- Performs general and program specific clerical functions including processing of change orders and ensuring the efficiency of departmental activities.
- Issues purchase orders for the purpose of facilitating required supplies, services within the budget & Rate Contract.
- Maintain updated records of the dept., receive indents from the user dept &maintain records of the same, check stock availability getting quotations & making comparative Sheets.
- Track Purchase orders & ensure timely delivery
- Identifying new potential vendors, conduct market research to identify pricing trends & maintain updated records of Rate Contracts.
