Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to oversee sales operations in the vegetable seeds segment. The candidate should have a strong background in seeds marketing, experience in field trials, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the assigned region.
- Manage and expand dealer, distributor, and retailer networks for vegetable seeds.
- Conduct field trials and demonstrations to showcase product performance.
- Organize and execute farmer meetings, field days, and promotional activities.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and work effectively on cash basis transactions.
- Provide sales reports, market feedback, and demand forecasts to management.
- Train and guide the sales team to improve productivity and achieve targets.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–5 years in sales & marketing of vegetable seeds (mandatory).
- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Agriculture or related field preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent English is a must (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience in conducting field trials.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proven track record of working on cash basis sales.
- Basic Knowledge of MS Office

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
