Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in water and wastewater treatment solutions and will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and providing technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in industries such as pharmaceutical, chemical, textile, food & beverage, hospitals, hotels, and engineering.
- Understand client requirements for water and wastewater treatment plants (RO, ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD, DAF, MBBR, etc.) and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts in alignment with company pricing and profitability policies.
- Collaborate with the design and project team to ensure accurate technical solutions are offered.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback to management.
- Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, water treatment, or similar technical sales.
- Strong technical understanding of water & wastewater treatment processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel across assigned territory.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
