Could you be the full-time **Material Planning Specialist** in **[INSERT LOCATION]** we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your **supply chain and material planning** expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside **dedicated and collaborative** teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials across our supply chain network. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (**Site Material Planners, Site Buyers, Key Users, and Regional Business Process Experts**), coordinate with external suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet operational needs.
You’ll specifically take care of creating material planning documents in our ERP system (GSI) and communicating delivery requirements to suppliers, but also ensure delivery confirmations are accurately reflected in the system for site reference.
We’ll look to you for:
Creating and managing material planning documents in Alstom’s ERP system (GSI)
Communicating Alstom’s delivery requirements to suppliers
Ensuring supplier delivery confirmations align with Alstom’s needs
Coordinating with internal and external networks to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Representing the site in interactions with suppliers
Extracting and analyzing data from supply chain systems to support decision-making

B.E or B.Tech degree (mandatory) or an academic diploma in Supply Chain (desirable)
5–8 years of experience in supply chain processes and tools
Hands-on experience with ERP tools, specifically in Materials Management modules
Understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and ability to extract MIS from supply chain information systems
Fluent in English with strong collaboration and communication skills
Supplier relationship management experience
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like MS Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
Previous experience in a Shared Services Centre or remote working (desirable)
