Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Admin and Academic Counselor to join our team in Nilambur. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage both administrative tasks and student counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with day-to-day administrative operations including student enrollment, attendance management, and filing of documents.
- Maintain accurate records of student data and academic performance.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and workshops for students and faculty.
- Handle communication with parents, students, and staff regarding academic matters.
- Manage student inquiries and resolve academic-related concerns in a timely manner.
- Academic Counseling:
- Provide counseling to students regarding academic performance, career options, and personal development.
- Guide students in course selection, academic planning, and time management.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide feedback to ensure they meet their goals.
- Assist in identifying and addressing challenges that students may face in their studies.
- Offer support and counseling on stress management, exam preparation, and career choices.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative and counseling role, preferably within an educational institution.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Empathetic and patient with students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an educational institution.
- Knowledge of student counseling techniques and academic support.
- Familiarity with school/college administration procedures and documentation.
