JOB SUMMARY
Role Purpose:To manage and streamline all warehouse operations including stock management, order execution, vendor coordination, and quality control to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective order fulfillment.
Salary Range: Rs 20,000 / 25,000
Experience Required:
· 2–4 years in warehouse/inventory management.
· Familiarity with ERP/Inventory software.
· Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or distribution is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stock Management
· Maintain accurate stock records in both system and physical warehouse.
· Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages/overstocking.
· Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic audits.
· Ensure proper storage, segregation, and FIFO/LIFO implementation.
· Track stock aging and highlight slow-moving/near-expiry products.
2. Order Execution
· Coordinate with order management system for daily order pick lists.
· Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
· Verify order accuracy to avoid mismatches and cancellations.
· Track order processing status and provide daily reports.
· Liaise with logistics team/courier partners for smooth deliveries.
3. Quality & Compliance
· Implement packing standards for safe and damage-free deliveries.
· Ensure correct labelling, batch/expiry tagging, and documentation.
· Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance in the warehouse.
· Monitor return handling and ensure proper documentation.
4. Purchase Coordination
· Coordinate with vendors for cartons, packing materials, and supplies.
· Track daily/weekly consumption of packing materials and raise purchase requests.
· Negotiate with vendors for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
· Coordinate with product vendors for replenishment and delivery schedules.
· Maintain vendor database with rate comparisons and supply timelines.
5. Team Management
· Supervise packing staff and assign daily tasks.
· Train team members on handling, packing, and warehouse systems.
· Monitor performance and ensure adherence to SOPs.
