Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging offline and/or online training sessions on video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Teach students editing techniques, colour grading, motion graphics basics, and sound syncing.
- Develop training materials, lesson plans, and project-based learning activities.
- Mentor students on real-world projects and portfolio creation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new tools, and techniques to keep the course content relevant.
- Provide feedback and evaluation to track student progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong command over industry-standard editing tools.
- Knowledge of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to guide beginners and intermediate learners effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior training or teaching experience.
- Experience in multiple editing software.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of editing styles.
