Role Overview
We’re seeking a creative Video Editor Intern to join our team on a per‑project basis. This is not a full‑time role—editors will be compensated per completed video. Ideal for students or emerging editors wanting hands‑on experience and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble raw footage into polished videos according to project briefs
- Add motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, sound effects, and music
- Color‑correct and grade footage for a consistent look and feel
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to refine edits
- Deliver final videos in required formats (MP4, MOV, source project files)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Media, Communications, or related field
- Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and audio mixing
- Strong storytelling sense, pacing, and attention to detail
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- Portfolio or sample reel showcasing previous editing work
Compensation
- Per‑video payment (rate based on length and complexity; to be discussed)
- Flexible assignment selection—pick projects that suit your availability
