About This Role
This is a 4-month, full-time, in-office internship for beginner video editors looking to gain real-world experience. You’ll be collaborating on client projects, editing social content, and assisting in motion design and post-production tasks.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and client campaigns.
- Work on real client footage under supervision.
- Learn pacing, sound design, color grading, and editing flow.
- Collaborate with creative leads and other editors.
- Deliver export-ready files in different formats.
Tools You’ll Work With
- Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
- After Effects (optional but a plus)
- DaVinci Resolve, Audition, or any additional video tools you’re comfortable with.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for video editing and digital storytelling.
- Basic understanding of editing software (especially Premiere Pro).
- Laptop capable of handling HD/4K footage.
- Creative mindset and a strong attention to detail.
- A strong willingness to learn and receive feedback.
Bonus If You Have:
- A portfolio or sample work (You’ll be prioritized if you share it, but not mandatory).
- Interest in YouTube, short-form content, music/sound sync editing.
What This Internship Is (and Isn’t)
- A full-time, in-office internship to gain industry-level experience.
- An opportunity to work on real projects for real clients.
- A pathway to a potential full-time position based on performance.
- This is not a training program or course.
- We do not provide systems, so you’ll need your own editing-capable laptop.
- This is not remote or part-time.
Compensation.
- Performance-based incentives or paid opportunities may be offered from the 2nd month onwards.
- Top performers may be offered a full-time job at Ilum Media LLP after internship.
