Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor Intern, you will work closely with our production team to edit and produce high-quality videos for YouTube and other social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio, develop editing skills, and gain industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos for YouTube and social media platforms.
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, and special effects to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct formats, resolutions, and dimensions.
- Incorporate feedback from team members to make revisions and improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Assist in organizing and managing media assets, including footage, graphics, and sound files.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge video editing software, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools (After Effects is a plus).
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their video content requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Portfolio or sample work demonstrating video editing skills (please include links in your application).
