Role Definition
This role has the primary responsibility for modelling the Articulated Truck value chain, through Supply Chain Guru, in order to create optimal inventory positioning across the value chain, Dealer, Product and Production stores Inventory. The incumbent collaborates closely with value chain team members in order to establish inputs, generate, evaluate and implement outputs that support optimization for supply chain resiliency, availability and OPACC. Ideal candidates will have prior supply chain planning, materials / inventory planning experience, understand the concepts of value chain design, supply chain planning parameters & inventory forecasting & optimization. This role requires a deep level of methodical analysis and the ability to take complex data to formulate business proposals for presentation and implementation with key stakeholders. The role works closely with the global team supporting Articulated trucks, effective communication and leadership skills are key.
- Analyzing the inbound, value add and outbound value chains to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Developing business cases and capability studies, recommending improvements to stakeholders.
- Implementing new and enhanced processes and tools and governing changes through collaboration across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment.
- Identifying process inefficiencies and wastes of time, money, materials, and energy.
Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired
Business Process Design: Knowledge of business process design; ability to develop appropriate techniques to re-examine key processes and focus on optimizing organizational performance.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Carries out business process design tasks with some supervision and coaching.
- Uses a variety of business process design tools and techniques.
- Examines, interprets, and explains work-flow materials and documentation.
- Documents common obstacles and barriers for effective implementation.
