About the role
Hiring a UI/UX Designer with 1–3 years of experience to design intuitive, high-quality web and mobile experiences. The role is on-site in Chennai and involves close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to ship user-centered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and user needs into flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity designs for web and mobile.
- Create prototypes in Figma and partner with engineers for smooth handoff and delivery.
- Apply UX principles, information architecture, and accessibility best practices.
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, components, and style guides.
- Run or support lightweight user research, usability reviews, and iteration based on feedback.
- Present work clearly with rationale and trade‑offs to stakeholders.
Minimum requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong portfolio with both web and mobile projects; include at least one end‑to‑end case study.
- Proficiency in Figma; familiarity with Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus.
- Good grasp of design principles, typography, visual hierarchy, and usability.
- Ability to work on‑site in Chennai and collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in design tokens/design systems.
- Basic understanding of front‑end constraints and dev handoff (Figma Inspect, Zeplin).
- Exposure to analytics or experimentation (GA, Mixpanel, A/B testing) to inform design decisions.
