Roles & Responsibilities:
- Accounting of Petty cash expenses.
- Handling of Showroom Cash and Petty cash.
- Coordination with Regional accountant for maintaining branch books of accounts, cash, cards and bank accounts and reconciliations.
- Review of showroom Revenue/sales reports, stock report, and expense report.
- Prepare and reconcile reports as required by regional accountants for filing of statutory return.
- Assist the Regional accountants for completing Tax Audit team and GST audits.
- Attend personal hearings or report before authorities on behalf of the company.
- Support the branch sales team to make sales by ensuring the receipts of payments, providing support to make refunds to customers if any and other operational supports.
- Preparation and filing of statutory (ESI, EPF, Labour, etc.) Forms and returns.
- Maintenance of attendance Register, Preparation of monthly payroll and monthly incentive details.
- Preparation of PIR and coordination with Head office to get it approved.
- Branch day to day administrative tasks as assigned by Sr. Accounts Manager/Finance Head.
- Maintaining Vehicle Log Book and Petro Card Register.
- Generate E Invoice and E-way Bill.
- Updating of daily Cash Deposits In Drive for treasury department
- Checking of Bank Details of customers to whom payment should be done on account of purchase of old ornaments and coordination with HO to make the payments.
Qualification & Skills
- Graduated in B.com / M.com or any related field.
- Fresher or 2 years of experience in the Accounting (preferably in the retail/jewellery sector).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (Tally, D365, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil (Malayalam is an added advantage).
- Age Limit: Between 30 years
Career Path
Successful completion of the 1 year trainee period may lead to promotion as Junior Accounts Executive / Accounts Executive within the organisation.
