Responsibilities:
Your role as Order Entry - Trainee will encompass:
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy
- Enter and process orders and change orders in company ERP systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Work with inside Sales Application Engineers on technical and pricing issues
- Respond to Manufacturing questions and requests for order changes and system updates
- Coordinate new orders with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Credit and Manufacturing departments including:
- Identifying special orders to Engineering and Sales to make sure proper equipment is supplied to the customer
- Research information, specified drawings, missing and incorrect data on new orders and change orders
- Interpret and clarify order write-ups and specifications for drafting personnel
- Input data in drive requisition program to get v-belt drives ordered
- Act, Live, and Behave by TCF Core Values.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum Two years’ experience in technical support to sales and/or engineering or equivalent will be an added advantage
- Good mechanical and mathematical aptitudes
- Detail oriented, capable of following complex procedures which require use of multiple systems and tracking pending items for timely follow-up and completion
- Knowledge of manufacturing EPR systems a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in standard office software programs and equipmentAbility to work as a part of a team
- Exceptional active listening skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the workplace.
