About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Fashion + Textile Designer who can create unique, trendy, and practical designs for baby/kidswear (like frocks, kurtas, rompers) and home textile products (like bedsheets, muslin cloths, swaddles, blankets, etc.) at MomsHome.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Jaipur office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design new prints, patterns, and color palettes for muslin, swaddles, bedding, and other baby products.
- Create fashion-forward kidswear styles (frocks, kurtas, rompers, etc.) with attention to comfort and aesthetics.
- Develop mood boards and concept themes based on trends and seasonal inspirations.
- Collaborate with production and sampling teams to convert designs into actual products.
- Work on fabric selection, trims, styling details, and silhouettes.
- Use design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, etc.
- Suggest packaging and branding ideas from a designer’s perspective.
- Ensure timely submission of design files, tech packs, and print-ready artwork.
- Stay updated with current trends in kidswear and home furnishing.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Apparel Design.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong portfolios can also apply).
- Creative mindset with a good understanding of baby/kids fashion and soft furnishing.
- Proficiency in design software (AI, PS, CorelDRAW).
- Knowledge of fabrics, stitching styles, kidswear cuts, and color combinations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
