Key Responsibilities
- Server & Network Management
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows/Linux).
- Manage LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- System Administration
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups.
- Ensure data security and disaster recovery readiness.
- IT Security
- Implement and monitor IT security protocols.
- Regularly update antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Respond to and resolve security incidents.
- Technical Support
- Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support to employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Train staff on IT policies and safe practices.
- Software & Hardware Management
- Install and maintain business applications.
- Manage IT asset inventory (computers, laptops, printers, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors for IT purchases and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain IT documentation (network diagrams, configurations, license records).
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
