About the Traineeship Program
We are looking for a Sustainability Trainee who is passionate about eco-friendly fashion, waste reduction, and circular design. This is an unpaid traineeship (6–8 weeks) where you will gain hands-on experience in sustainable fashion practices, including fabric waste recycling, eco-material research, and upcycled product development. You will work closely with our sustainability and design teams to bring innovative green solutions into Wabric’s production cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching eco-friendly fabrics, natural dyes, and sustainable materials.
- Support projects on waste fabric upcycling into new products (toys, cushions, accessories, etc.).
- Help design process flows for fabric recycling and zero-waste systems.
- Document waste-to-product experiments, materials, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the design team to explore eco-inspired product concepts.
- Support awareness campaigns on sustainable fashion for Wabb community and customers.
- Track and report on sustainability metrics (waste reduced, products created, emissions saved).

Requirements
- Student or fresher in Sustainability, Fashion, Textiles, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- Passion for sustainable fashion, recycling, and eco-innovation.
- Creative problem-solving and research skills.
- Basic knowledge of materials, textiles, or production processes is a plus.
