Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to
join our team for a client project at MasterCard. The ideal candidate should
have a solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, strong PL/SQL
development skills, and hands-on experience in performance tuning and query
optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and
optimize PL/SQL code and database objects (procedures, triggers,
packages).
- Write and optimize
complex SQL queries to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with
application development teams to integrate and support database
functionalities.
- Conduct code reviews and
provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve
database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Design and implement
database solutions ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Contribute to strategies
involving data partitioning, archiving, and application maturity models.
- Create and maintain
technical documentation, including database schemas, processes, and
procedures.
- Ensure data integrity
and compliance with security and quality standards.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Oracle
PL/SQL development.
- Good understanding of Oracle
database architecture and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in tools
like SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer.
- Solid experience in performance
tuning and database optimization.
- Experience working with version
control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication
and collaboration abilities.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to Java
development.
- Familiarity with Agile
methodologies.
