Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Qlik Sense Developer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of next-generation business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, data modelling, and dashboard creation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions that empower business users to make informed decisions. This role requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for solving complex problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Design:
- Design, develop, and test Qlik Sense and QlikView scripts to import data from source systems.
- Build and test dashboards to meet customer requirements and business needs.
- Develop mashup applications integrated with Qlik Sense.
- Data Management:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Qlik Sense applications.
- Create QVD files and perform data transformation using Qlik Sense scripting.
- Ensure data quality, cleansing, and transformation processes are optimized.
- Server and Application Maintenance:
- Ensure the Qlik Sense server processes run efficiently and reliably.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server performance issues as needed.
- Collaboration and Prototyping:
- Work directly with business units to define and prototype Qlik Sense applications.
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specifications to deliver solutions.
- Provide input on design alternatives that align with client requirements and standards.
- Optimization and Best Practices:
- Use complex Qlik Sense functions and develop optimal scripts for performance.
- Apply visualization best practices to ensure dashboards are user-friendly and insightful.
Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Qlik Sense scripting, including set analysis and QVD file creation.
- Strong database design and SQL skills, with experience in RDMS such as MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Knowledge of N-Printing is an advantage.
- Application Design:
- Experience in designing, architecting, developing, and deploying Qlik Sense applications.
- Familiarity with mashup application development integrated with Qlik Sense.
- Data Quality and Transformation:
- Full understanding of data quality, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Ability to handle complex data scenarios and optimize scripts for performance.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver technical insights and interpret data reports for clients.
- Ability to understand and address client requirements effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Qlik Sense development.
- Experience with N-Printing is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL (Select, joins, ranking, views, and subqueries).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
