Position Overview
Unicent School, Kompally Campus, is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Studies Teacher to teach Grades 3–6 under the CBSE Curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Social Sciences, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to engage young learners through innovative teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Social Studies lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop engaging teaching materials, activities, and assignments to enhance student learning.
- Integrate technology, project-based learning, and experiential methods to make Social Studies interactive.
- Assess, evaluate, and report on student progress in a timely and constructive manner.
- Maintain an organized, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Prepare students for school assessments, examinations, and co-curricular competitions.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure curriculum implementation.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs as required.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Social Sciences, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.
- Teaching Qualification: B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in CBSE curriculum at the primary/middle school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Social Studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and motivating classroom environment.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into the teaching-learning process.
