Job Title: Social Media Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to manage the online presence of our institute across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting academic programs, student achievements, campus events, and other institute-related updates to engage prospective students, current students, alumni, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute social media strategies to increase visibility, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Manage daily posting on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Promote institute activities such as admissions, seminars, workshops, student life, faculty achievements, and alumni success stories.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to gather content and create compelling stories.
- Design and edit basic graphics or coordinate with the design team for visual content.
- Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries across social platforms.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate monthly reports.
- Stay updated on trends in education and digital communication to keep the institute’s social media fresh and relevant.
- Assist with social media promotions for admission campaigns and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, preferably in the education or non-profit sector.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English (and regional language if applicable).
- Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, and other content planning tools.
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite or mobile apps like InShot, CapCut, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple pages and maintain a consistent voice and tone.
- Passion for education and working in a student-centered environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of admission cycles and how to align social media accordingly.
- Understanding of SEO and how it applies to content visibility.
- Experience with running paid ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
- Video storytelling and short-form video content creation (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
