Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Skin Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare and committed to delivering high-quality treatments tailored to each client's skin needs. As a Skin Therapist, you will perform a variety of facial and body treatments to improve the appearance and health of the skin, provide skincare advice, and promote a range of skincare products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skin analysis and consultations to determine appropriate treatments.
- Deliver professional skincare services including facials, peels, microdermabrasion, extractions, LED therapy, and other non-invasive treatments.
- Recommend and sell skincare products and home care regimens.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment room and common areas.
- Stay updated on the latest skincare trends, technologies, and products.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Keep accurate client records including treatment details and product usage.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards and protocols.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, or certifications as required.
Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as an Esthetician or Skin Therapist.
- Proven experience in skin therapy or a spa/clinic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of skin types, conditions, and professional treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in advanced facial treatments (e.g., micro needling, chemical peels, laser therapy).
- Sales experience in skincare or wellness products.
- Experience with professional skincare brands.
Working Conditions:
- Standing for extended periods during treatments.
- Working with various skincare tools, products, and machines.
- Interaction with clients in a calm, relaxing environment.
