About the Role:
We are looking for a Site Safety Officer to join our team and ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained across our project sites. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of preparing safety documentation and compliance reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement site safety practices in line with statutory and company requirements.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation including:
- Lifting Plans for Equipment
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Method Statements
- Risk Assessments and HSE reports
- Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor adherence to permit-to-work systems and statutory compliances.
- Train, guide, and support site teams to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Liaise with contractors, project managers, and client representatives on safety matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering or Safety Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Safety Officer, preferably in EPC, construction, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards.
- Proven ability to prepare and review safety documentation independently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
