About us:
Incorporated in 2016 as a Joint-Venture between TotalEnergies and EDF Renewables, Eden Renewables India has been developing, engineering, financing, constructing, and operating over 2 GW of solar PV assets in India.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Look after the site EPC contractor based on the HSE contract signed with EPC.
- Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
- Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
- Familiarization of HSE systems and inculcate the importance of HSE procedures/protocols for the site.
- Assists the Project team in all issues concerned with HSE at work of the contractors.
- Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
- Assists in accident, incident investigation procedure.
- Carries out analysis of accident, incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
- Provides technical support to Senior Management on safety related subjects.
- Carries out and provide an in-house safety training by preparation of training module.
- Regular follow-up with EPC contractors on safety measures and its implementation.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
B. Tech – Electronics and Electrical Engineering- Post Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environment post B.Tech.
- Electrical Safety Certificate Course, if any.
- ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 certified.
- Relevant experience in solar/renewables industries.
- Ability to work in a fast-growing Company and align with Company’s initiatives;
- Independent, hands-on, and driven with the aptitude and attitude to learn, embrace and adapt to changes;
- Dedication to the transaction/ projects you are handling, with a problem-solving approach and ability to work with relevant stakeholders to drive successful completion of transactions/ projects;
- Creative and Analytical thinking skills
- Good knowledge of data analysis and tools like Excel, MS Projects, Power Point etc.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
