Job Description
Job summary
We are looking for a qualified individual to ensure the optimal functioning of critical systems like HT (High Tension) yard, generators, transformers, and uninterrupted power systems, conducting preventive maintenance, addressing breakdowns promptly, and supervising projects. The goal is to achieve zero power failures and breakdowns within defined timelines, emphasizing quality, safety, and budget adherence in non-core facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Involving in Plant engineering activity related to Electrical.
- Performing activities as per project plan and ensuring the timely completion. Preparing project related documents.
- Inventory management in the department.
- Ensuring activities as per calibration and other applicable schedules are performed on time.
- Complying necessary legal requirements.
- Coordinating for internal and external audits related to Engineering and QMS and ensuring the closure of audit findings on time.
- Compliance to non-conformances and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinating preventive maintenance of equipment’s.
- Following good documentation, data control and cGMP regulations.
- Preparing procedures, qualification documents and other documents related to Engineering.
- Implementing energy conservation measures.
- Performing qualification and validation activities.
- Ensuring completion of respective training before initiating any activity.
- Implementing energy conservation measures and routine Energy consumption calculation of Manufacturing Plant.
- Preparing and updating SLD, Electrical panel of equipment’s, Earthing layout’s, lighting arrester drawing.
- Distribution board, Breaker and UPS maintenance
- Ensuring completion of respective training before initiating any activity.
- Handling safety work permits.
- Ensuring there are no data integrity related issues.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: A Bachelor’s in Engineering
Minimum work experience: 4 to 8 years of experience in Projects and Electrical Maintenance
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in the operations and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Expertise in overseeing infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of state electricity board requirements.
• Experience in navigating audits and implementing necessary corrective measures, with a focus on ensuring compliance to safety standards and best practices.
Behavioural skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, providing support to achieve project goals.
• Proficiency in planning and coordinating projects, and the capability to handle a large workforce, specifically 40 plus contract manpower.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate understanding among team members and interact effectively with stakeholders.
• A proactive inclination towards exploring new ways to save on energy bills, coupled with a delivery-oriented mind set.
