Seeking for Linux/Windows System Administrator with Web Hosting Experience.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Linux/Windows System Administrator, Experience in Windows / Linux operating systems and its management.
- Must have knowledge of cPanel/WHM/ Plesk/ Virtualmin and other Control Panel.
- Must have understanding of Linux Environment, Command Line, Accessing Server via Putty and Shell.
- Understanding of Incident analysis/RCAs/troubleshooting and identification of permanent resolutions towards client issues.
- Monitoring servers, infra using tools like Zabbix/OpManager etc
- Proactively monitor product/services/site performance, uptime, availability and analyse logs/metrics.
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users over ticket system.
- Monitor servers to ensure security.
- Knowledge of Exim. MailEnable or other email management system is an addon.
- Resolve client issues as per their queries over Email or Chat Support.
- Changing IP's, Configuring software's and Server Security and hardening.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related area (equivalent work experience will be considered)
- Experience in Windows / Linux operating systems.
- Windows: Active Directory, DNS, Email Syste, IIS and Plesk.
- Linux: Deep understanding of Linux Systems.
- Storage: RAID, LVM, SAN, NAS (NFS etc.) fundamentals
- Databases: Good understanding of SQL/RDBMS, MySQL/ MariaDB Replication, Postgres
- Web: Apache, IIS, Nginx
