Role Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manual Test Engineer to join our team. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps, mentoring & guiding the team in providing quality deliverables. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimized both in technology and in delivering the best user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance (QA) engineer will help design, implement, execute, and assess software quality through manual test cases to ensure product quality for the Project team.
• The individual should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly collaborative, creative and proactive and be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
• The individual will work closely with developers, project manager, and other stakeholders throughout the Project individually.
• The QA engineer plays an important part in the product development process by executing test iterations, tracking, and reporting results.
• The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and Agile methodology.
• The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all the project stakeholders.
• Help design, implement, execute, and maintain test cases based on design specifications.
• Identify, investigate (as necessary), and report issues found through testing including validating issue and determining depth and breadth of testing needed
• Document issues in project tracking application
• Be a vocal proponent for maintaining quality in every phase of the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of expertise in testing of web applications.• 2+ years of expertise in functional testing, Integration testing.• 2+ years of experience in Mobile testing using browser stack
• Experience using Jira as complete test management tool.
• Experience with client communications.
• Experience in Agile methodology.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Skills to identify application issues and areas for improvement, test gaps and formulate ways to bridge those gaps
• Excellent Critical, logical ,analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to execute all levels of testing including but not limited to Software Application, Integration and Component Level Regression
• Work closely with development teams to help ensure efficient, frequent software releases
• Passion for and deep understanding of the best practices of the Quality Engineering
• Good team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs like Excel, word, power point
