The P&C Re Market Operations & Performance team is a global, international team with colleagues based around the world. We collaborate closely with senior leaders in the P&C Reinsurance Business Unit to shape and enable the strategic direction of P&C on a global scale. Our mission is to drive operational excellence, positioning Swiss Re for success both today and in the future. As Swiss Re's largest Business Unit, P&C Re is responsible for all Property & Casualty (Non-Life) Reinsurance business worldwide.
About the role
As a member of the P&C Re Market Operations & Performance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting key strategic and operational initiatives for P&C Re. This position offers high exposure and direct interaction with senior leaders, providing you with a unique opportunity to influence decision-making at the highest levels. Key responsibilities:
- Strategic project execution: Drive and support global and local initiatives aligned with P&C Re’s strategic objectives.
- Executive presentation development: Own the preparation of high-impact presentations for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Executive Committee, client and media events), ensuring compelling narratives, clear visuals, and design excellence.
- Analytics and decision support: Deliver structured quantitative and qualitative analysis on key business topics (e.g., productivity, market trends, performance tracking), leveraging dashboards and recurring reporting processes to support informed decision-making.
- Cost and budget oversight: Provide operational support for Business Unit cost and budget management, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and control.
- Process and governance management: Manage key executive and governance processes (e.g., committee agendas, action tracking, board support), ensuring rigour, follow-through, and documentation.
- Cross-functional stakeholder engagement: Partner across P&C Re and Swiss Re Group functions (e.g., Strategy, Finance, Communications, Data & Tech, Swiss Re Institute, HR) to ensure coordination and alignment.
- Data visualization and insight communication: Apply strong data storytelling and visualization techniques to convey insights clearly and effectively to senior audiences.
- P&C Re Bangalore orchestration: Coordinate the P&C Re Bangalore leadership team’s agenda and collaboration rhythm, ensuring alignment with broader P&C Re priorities. Lead and organize P&C Re community-building efforts in Bangalore to foster engagement, culture, and connectivity across teams.
- Ad-hoc leadership support: Provide flexible and resilient support on emerging priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
About you:

Essentials:
- 8-10 years overall experience, with at least 5+ experience in management consulting or strategy
- Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel
- Extensive experience preparing presentations for senior stakeholders
- Language skills: English fluent (verbal and written)
- Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex information into clear, concise formats
- Demonstrated experience in cost management and budget oversight
- Ability to independently conduct tasks and lead projects, taking ownership and driving initiatives
- Strong motivation to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time
- Ability to work under pressure and quickly absorb new topics and tasks
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills
