Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement MuleSoft APIs and integrations using API-led architecture (Experience, Process, System APIs).
- Convert business requirements into technical specs and integration flows.
- Applies AI technologies to continuously improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives
- Provide accurate estimations for integration deliverables and ensure timely completion of committed tasks.
- Write complex DataWeave transformations, custom connectors, and reusable components.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large scoped integration projects.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architects to align design and delivery.
- Enforce coding standards, reusability, modularity, and proper exception handling.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and well-documented.
- Manage full lifecycle of APIs: design → build → test → deploy → version.
- Mentor and support junior engineers on MuleSoft development, testing, and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with Integration Architects, Staff Engineers, and Business Analysts to deliver aligned solutions.
- Contribute to and optimize CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments (e.g., Maven, Jenkins, Git).
- Ensure deployment automation and environment consistency across dev, QA, and production.
- Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Anypoint Monitoring, Splunk, ELK, Azure AppInsights.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and propose preventive solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
- Solid grasp of API security, REST/SOAP services, and RAML/OpenAPI.
- Experience with DataWeave, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Experience delivering AI integration solutions (MCP, A2A) is a plus.
- MuleSoft Developer/Architect certifications preferred.
- Experience working in Agile frameworks and sprint-based delivery models.
- Ability to estimate work accurately and break down integration tasks for delivery in Agile sprints.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
